Hi I'm Jay

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in Denver, CO. Attended BYU for 3 years and mortuary school for one year 1962-1963. Joined the Denver Fire Dept. in August 1966 and retired in December 1991. Married and have 4 children. I'm still active in the mortuary business and now just take care of my personal calls when friends pass away. I served a mission in the Eastern States from 1960 - 1962. Got married to Sue August 3, 1962 whom I met at the Hill Cumorah Pageant in 1960. We now live in Centennial, CO.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the Church in the Denver area. When I was young, there was one stake which covered from Wyoming to southern Colorado and from the mountains to Kansas. I attended the Barnum ward at Cedar and Lowell Blvd. in west Denver. I have always had a testimony of the truthfulness of the Gospel. It is even more important today to have the truth to guide us in our everyday dealings due to all the evil in the world. On every side we are hit with worldly concepts that want to draw us away from what we should be doing to keep strong in the church and our callings.

How I live my faith

I try to live as the Savior wants each of us to live. Be good examples of what we believe and show others there are better ways to live in such a troubled world. Now is the time for man to prepare to meet the Savior when he returns to the earth for the Second Coming.
