Hi I'm David

I'm a Dad, Husband and I work as a Computer Systems Technician. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I’m married and have 2 children. I love being married to my wife and being a father. I am a computer systems technician. I love telling jokes and many times being the only one laughing at them. I’m a dreamer and an inventor.

Why I am a Mormon

I moved to Mesa when I was started 9th grade from the Phoenix area. This is where I was first introduced to The LDS Church. Most things I heard were negative but after making friends with a few members my opinion started to change. After high school my best friend went on a mission and I joined the army. After I returning home from the army my friend was sharing some concepts of the gospel with me and invited me o the temple visitor center. This is the first time I felt something different when talking about the gospel of Jesus Christ. After that I took the missionary discussions. I gained a testimony of the gospel and new the Church was true. I was baptized and became a member of the church.

How I live my faith

Living my new faith was a very different experience. I equated it to a complete lifestyle change. Now instead of just being able to say I believed in Jesus Christ I was now expected to follow his example. Not to say that wasn’t encouraged previously but now something in my heart had changed. I started to understand the fullness of the Gospel and my desire to serve those around me increased. I was trying to be like Jesus was when he lived here on earth. I received my first calling which was a very new concept to me. I loved to serve my fellow ward members. I have now been in the Church for many years and have served in many different callings and I loved them all. I was a blessed person to have found the Gospel because it brought my wife and me together. We have created an eternal family and will be able to live together forever. My family is the most important calling that I have been entrusted with to date.
