Hi I'm Boyd

I'm a Mormon. I was born and raised in Idaho, I found my eternal companion in California and we have five sons and 8 grandchildren

About Me

I am in my mid 60's. I love to hunt, fish, watch my grandchildren participate in their activities, and I have had horses almost all of my life and love to ride and work with them. My wife and children are everything to me and I thank the lord for them and the opportunity to have them with me as part of this life. I have been involved in construction related business most of my life (ready mix concrete production, project superintendent, carpentry and welding). I have owned an automotive repair shop and I was a Hospital corpsman (medic) in Viet Nam. I now have a small woodworking shop in Carmine, Texas where I truly enjoy making various things for my family as well as to sell.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born in the church, but as a teenager I questioned the truthfulness of it. I explored other avenues for a number of years until all things in my life led me back to the church and through serious examination and much humility I gained a testimony of the truthfulness of the Gospel.

How I live my faith

I strive daily to do the things that I know would make my Savior pleased with me. I have had the privilege and opportunity to serve others through my callings in the church which brings joy and happiness to my life, although the ultimate joy comes through knowing that I have the opportunity to have my family with me for eternity, as a "Family", if I but live this life the way that I should.
