Hi I'm Ashley

I am a life long believer in Jesus Christ and a steadfast follower of His teachings. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wedding photographer. I love being apart and capturing the special moments of that day for so many couples! I am also passionate about advocating for the importance of marriage and family. I teach premarital workshops within the community to prepare couples for this most beautiful and important union. I also enjoy doing anything outdoors including hiking, camping, fishing, biking, and frisbee. I also love being a new wife who cooks and sews to help make our house a home!

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised int he church but there came a time when I was a teenager that I needed to know that I knew it was true. I needed my own testimony and not rely on my parent's testimony any longer. I read the Book of Mormon on my own and constantly prayed for an answer. Instead, I got a confirmation. I already knew the Book of Mormon was true and that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the only true and living church. I knew this because I had been living it all my life. John 7:17 says, "If any man will do his will , he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself." I had been doing His will all my life, I knew that is was of God. I am a Mormon because I know it is within this church that the truth for real happiness in this life, and in the life to come, is found. I know the teachings are true because I have lived them. I have seen the fruits of the gospel in my life. I know that Joseph Smith is a true prophet, called of God to restore the truth in these latter-days. I know that we have a living prophet today, President Thomas Monson. Above all, I know that Jesus Christ lives. He loves me and He wants me to be happy.

How I live my faith

I live my faith through being an example of the believers in my daily actions. I work with an organization that strives to advocate and promote healthy marriages and thus, healthy families. I use my knowledge of God's plan for families to guide my actions and to drive my passion. I stand up for the things I believe such as keeping the sabbath day holy (attending my meetings and giving the entire day to the Lord) or obeying the Word of Wisdom (not partaking of alcohol, coffee, tea, or harmful substances). I make a constant effort to be involved in the community and within the church. This is how I live my faith. The gospel is love in ACTION.
