Hi I'm Doug

I'm a husband and father to three wonderful children. I love cheering for the Arkansas Razorbacks. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am married and the father to three terrific children. My life revolves around work and family activities, leaving little time for much of anything else. I work as an attorney in the real estate industry and enjoy participating in sports such as running, basketball and golf when not working. I graduated from the University of Arkansas (my entire extended family still lives there) and enjoy all things Arkansas Razorback related.....Wooooo Pig Sooooie!!

Why I am a Mormon

I love being a Mormon. The church provides a framework around which I live my life that gives me a sense of purpose and accomplishment. It has taught me about my existence before coming to earth, why I am here, and where I am going following my time here. What a great feeling to know that I am here on earth for a reason and that I can return to live with my Father in Heaven as an eternal family with my wife and children. I strive every day to live my life in accordance with those things I have learned through the church. The feelings of joy and peace I experience throughout the day let me know I am on the right path and that my Father in Heaven is pleased with my direction in life. These experiences help build and re-confirm my testimony that the church is true.

How I live my faith

The Savior taught us that service is one of the most important things we can do on this earth. I find great joy and satisfaction through serving others and it is one of the principal ways that I live my faith. It seems that many challenges and difficulties I face in my life seem less significant or daunting when I am helping others.
