Hi I'm Ben

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am happily married with two beautiful daughters. I work for a mid sized seed company. I enjoy the outdoors and other activities such as woodworking and playing with my family. I graduated from college with a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration. It took me twelve years to complete my degree once I started taking university courses. Having my degree has been a blessing to my life. Four and a half years ago I underwent brain surgery to remove a benign tumor. My road to recovery taught me much about the love that my Heavenly Father has for me. I am about to have my second brain surgery and I feel much more confidence that things will turn out okay, because of my faith in The Lord. I have been blessed with friends and family that love me enough to pray and fast for me as I am about to undergo this complicated surgery.

Why I am a Mormon

The reasons for my membership in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints are simple. Within the church is the power of the priesthood, or the power and authority given to men to act in God's name. I have been blessed by this great power throughout my life. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints teaches that families can be together forever. This principle motivates me to do what is right and to teach my little family that God loves us and wants us to be together for ever even after this life.

How I live my faith

In my service in the church I am blessed to work with other men that hold the priesthood. As we learn about what God wants us to do and live so that we a re worthy to use the priesthood, we learn that He has entrusted us with His power and with that power we can bless the lives of our families and other children of our Heavenly Father. Serving in the church is just that, service. There is no monetary compensation for work done in church service.
