Hi I'm Carrie

I grew up as a military brat. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a convert to the church. My husband was a member of the church but not actively attending. At the time I had 2 small children and realized it was my responsibility to teach them about God. I work outside the home, and now have 5 grandchildren who are all members of the church.

Why I am a Mormon

I joined the church after the missionaries had knocked on my door and shared the gospel with me. My husband didn't come to church with me, I took my children with me each Sunday. He asked me lots of questions about the church. You would think he had never attended before. Eventually, with the help and love of many friends his questions were answered and he came back to church.

How I live my faith

I try to be a good example to those I work with each day. I fail sometimes, and ask my co-workers to forgive me. I watch for times that I can serve others as I go about my everyday activities. I teach a class once a month to the ladies "Relief Society". I love teaching this. The lesson is from our General Conference. Twice a year we have General Conference which is a time for us to hear from our leaders. The talks they give are inspiration and bring comfort. They print all the talks that are given and put in a magazine for us to have in out homes to refer to it. Once a month we are taught from it. It always seems to be a lesson for me not them.
