Hi I'm Chad

I was converted in 2005 I love our Savior. " I am a Mormon"

About Me

I am Mormon. I am a Father of two and a Dad to five. My second marriage allowed me to have three more wonderful children in my family. My wife is my best friend and eternal partner. I work with Government agencies providing emergency equipment for their emergency vehicle needs, communications and IT. I am a past volunteer firefighter and learned to scuba dive a year ago. What an amazing world God has created for us here.

Why I am a Mormon

I was of Lutheran faith and in 2005 my father passed suddenly. I was not married at the time and my LDS friend came to comfort me in a matter of minutes in my time of sorrow. I was crushed by the fact that I had not seen my father in almost a year and was to visit him only 4 days later. She explained to me that heavenly father will allow us to be with our family in heaven again. I was so confused as my faith had taught me that it was not possible until the second coming. A few months later I was asked by her to visit the LDS Visitor Center and what it did to me changed me forever. I signed the card for a visit from the area Missionaries and was introduced to the lessons in the first week of June. On July 27th 2005 I was baptized and became a Mormon. The rest is history.

How I live my faith

I have served as a Webelos leader, Eleven year old Boy Scouts leader and currently Sunday School President. I have enjoyed all of my callings in the church but have cherished being a Sunday School President, I am amazed at the teachers we have that dedicate themselves every Sunday to teaching the youth, ages 12-17 the gospel of our heavenly father. To be interacting with these youth every Sunday over the past Five years brings such joy. I see these youth being such great examples for their peers. The Church is like one big family that I am a brother in. I am a Mormon.
