Hi I'm Angela

I'm a Mormon. I am a mother. I am a daughter of God. I am a wife. I am happy!

About Me

I am a mother of 4 and a wife. I love scrapbooking, photography, cooking and reading just to name a few. I enjoy spending my extra time with friends and family and going out to great new restaurants. I have worked in many many industries throughout my life. I love to travel and hope to go back to school someday.

Why I am a Mormon

I have always been a mormon. I was born into the church and chose to be baptized at the age of 8. I was married in the temple to my best friend. I feel like I have the typical mormon story. But I choose to remain a mormon because of some very powerful feelings and experiences I have had throughout my life. I love the feelings that come to my heart when I pray, when I fast and when I put my trust in my Heavenly Father. I love that I know where it was I came from and why I am here and where we are headed after this life. There are so many questions in life that are only answered through this gospel and I can feel their truthfulness. I love knowing that my family can be together forever and that what we are doing here is so much more than just day to day activities. I can't imagine what it must be like to think that I would never see them again after they die. I know that Joseph Smith saw what he did and I know that the Book oF Mormon is a true account laid out for our day also. I know that my Savior lives and that he died for me. I know that he wants me personally to come back to live with him. I love the way this gospel makes me feel and for the happiness it brings into my life I have watched as family members who were also raised in the church have strayed away and how much unhappiness and insecurity they have in their lives. I love that I know that things may not be perfect or easy for me, but as a member of this church I feel more power and strength in overcoming my trials and in knowing that I am being blessed and cared for. I love that we have a prophet of God here on the earth and that he receives revelation for me and my family. I love that I don't have to go through this life and all it's trials alone. I love that we don't have to be perfect to be part of this church, we just have to be trying our best and repentant when we mess up. I love that I can feel the hand of the lord guiding me in my life and picking me up when I need to be carried.

How I live my faith

I live it daily by saying my prayers and reading my scriptures and trying to find ways to serve or help my family or others around me. I live it by standing up for what I believe in and teaching my children the principles of the gospel. I live it by doing the things the savior has asked of us or has showed us by example. I love serving and have served in many capacities within the church. I love seeing the lives of others change through the gospel and through their commitments to the truth and their service of others.
