Hi I'm Paula

I am very active in the small town I live in. I love helping people and doing things to improve my community. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a very active person and love to stay busy, whether it is in my community, my home and family, or in the church. I love the outdoors and spend as much time as I can gardening, working in my yard, or just enjoying the beautiful sights, sounds and smells of Nature. Doing fundraising and other service projects is at the top of the list of things I like to do. I am the mother of 5 grown children and the grandmother of 8 beautiful grandchildren. I try hard to get up every day with a positive attitude and and an appreciation of the world and the people around me. I love life!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know the gospel that is taught in this church is the one and only true gospel of Jesus Christ. My mother was a convert to the church and chose to teach myself and my siblings the correct way to live our lives and be happy. I am so thankful for that upbringing. My testimony of the truthfulness of this church is a very precious thing to me and I do not know where I would be or what I would be doing without it. Knowing I have a Heavenly Father that loves me and wants me to return to Him and live with Him eternally brings a smile to my face and a warm, peaceful feeling to my heart. I know that if I make a mistake, I can repent and make better choices in the future and I will be forgiven. I know that the church today is patterned after the church Jesus Christ organized when he lived here upon the Earth. There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that as a Mormon, I am a child of God and I belong to the one and only true church upon the face of the Earth today

How I live my faith

I try to live the gospel every day, in the way that I treat others and the service that I render in my home and my community. I know that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ want us to love one another and help one another when we can. I have had many callings in the church, from teaching the little ones in Primary to organizing sports events and camps to teaching homemaking skills to the women of the church. I think it is important to be kind and understanding, patient and compassionate to those around me, as we are all brothers and sisters.
