Hi I'm Cami

I'm a wife. I'm an artist. I'm a DIY girl. I'm a nurse. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to find old things and using a little paint and elbow grease, create them into something new. Baking is one of my favorite past times. Hospice nursing is my passion in life. I hope to be a mom someday soon. Sketching and painting are something that I enjoy. I have traveled to over nine countries so far and hope that that is just the beginning.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I continue to live my faith as a result of the happiness that living the standards of my religion brings into my life. As I try my best to live the way that I know the Savior has asked me to, I am more able to understand His love for me. When my father died in a plane crash several years ago, I was comforted by the knowledge of forever families. I know that not only will I have my family here but also have the assurring peace that I will also have them in the eternities to come. This knowledge means that there is purpose to family relationships here.

How I live my faith

Right now I am the Girls Camp Director in my ward. I just came back from taking the girls in our ward ages 12-18 years old on a 4 day camp. We all had a blast! The preparation was unfamiliar to me as I have only ever been a participant at camp but I learned so much about myself and about divine help. I also assist in the community by working with youth who have recently had a sibling or parent die. The organization I work with is faith-based with anyone who has faith in any religion or anything can come. Our goal is to help them to utilitze whatever faith tradition they have to assist them through the grieving process. I have learned so much through working with such courageous people.
