Hi I'm Stanford

I'm a husband and a father, enjoy surfing and playing the drums, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a husband and father who enjoys spending time with the family. I enjoy the ocean and if I didn't have to work, I would probably surf all day in the warm Hawaiian waters. I play the drums and dabble in playing the ukulele every once in a while. I enjoy Jazz (especially big band), Hawaiian music and most recently have taken a liking to country music since I am currently living in the middile of the United States. Visiting Disney parks is always a good time for the family and I really appreciate good wholesome entertainment.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents taught me great gospel lessons that served to create a solid religious foundation in my formative years. As I got older, I realized that I could no longer rely on borrowed light and that I had to develop my own conviction of the divinity of Christ. Like many others, I traveled that path to learn for myself that the teachings I grew up with were the teachings I wanted to follow...and that is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

One of the songs that our children sang while growing up is called "I'm Trying to be like Jesus". There are a lot of lessons in that simple tune that make me strive to live my faith every day in my every action and deed. I do my best to follow the Saviors example.
