Hi I'm Bob

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Being raised on a farm and ranch operation, I was blessed with the opportunities of working in the out-of-doors and seeing God’s handiwork on the earth. I still find that I feel closer to God when I am out among the mountains and along the streams and rivers. This background has provided an opportunity for me to work closely with animals and to develop skills in working with horses. It has also allowed me to work in a profession where these skills are helpful. I have been blessed with a wife, five children and eight grandchildren.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born in the Church, baptized when I was eight. However, most of my youth and young adulthood, I was inactive. After getting married, I found I need the guidance of the Lord in my life. I have a testimony of the Plan of Salvation and the role of the Savior, Jesus Christ in our lives. I encourage you to study the scriptures and establish communication with God the Father through prayer. The Gospel has been a tremendous strength to me to meet the challenges of life.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by reading the scriptures, prayer, keeping the commandments, attending church regularly. In church, I accept callings that allow me to further grow and increase my understanding of the Gospel. I home teach families and been blessed with this opportunity. I also have home teachers in my home. I have been blessed to work with the youth of the church as both a mentor and advisor. This has required the organization of many activities and events including service projects. Indeed, when you are in the service of your fellow man you are in the service of your God.
