Hi I'm Creed

I'm a laugher. I tend to eat too much. I'm an avid guitar guru. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I recently returned from serving for two years in North Carolina as a missionary there. So at the moment I am in a great transitional stage of not knowing exactly what I will be doing for the next few years. I did do many things before my service. I absolutely love music and musicians of all sorts and I loved to work with them on a local level in helping put on concerts and recording bands. I played in a few rock and roll bands myself and found a lot of joy in doing so. I cannot get enough of cameras and photography; another hobby that draws me in. I have found that I enjoy way too many things that cost money. Anyway, I'll be a struggling college student here in a little while. I'm sure that there are many who feel that pain. But my life is full of hope.

Why I am a Mormon

The first reason I am a Mormon is in good part because I was born of wonderful parents who had gained a testimony, somewhere down the line, that the Church was true. Another reason I am Mormon is that as I have lived the commandments and such, like my parents taught me, I found happiness and purpose. I also started to read the Book of Mormon and truly pray about it. As I did so, the Spirit gently pressed upon my soul, enough to let me know that it was good and of God. That experience was the hinge point of my decision to go on a two year, full time mission for the Lord. And many other experiences follow from that which continually confirm to me the truth of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and the reality of our Savior.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by attending church and taking the lessons learned there out into the world. I served a mission to help spread the Gospel. I desire to now serve in whatever kind of calling the Lord might have for me. I live the commandments. I desire to serve others. I read the scriptures and I pray every day. I will continue to improve myself by following Jesus Christ and keeping the sacred covenants, or promises, I have made to God.
