Hi I'm Brenda

I am energetic and loving. I love horses and sports of all kind. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hi, my name is Brenda. I enjoy sports. I love volleyball, basketball, softball, snowboarding, etc. The list goes on. I love horses, of which are one of God's many beautiful creations. :) I love riding them for hours, along trails, or in the mountains. I attended college for about a year a half, studying Childhood Education I am one of twelve in my family and will forever cherish them in my heart! I love my family. They are the most important thing in my life, besides knowing that I am a child of God.

Why I am a Mormon

Why I'm a Mormon. Because it's so powerful and tender to my heart that I think, 'why would I ever want to go without?' I testify that our Lord and Savior loves each and every one of His children. He showed that by atoning for our sins and transgressions. There have been many times where I feel sad or lonely, or I have done wrong, that immediately I feel my Savior's love and know that I can feel free from pain and sorrow, because of what He has done for me. I testify that Joseph Smith was a prophet and because he was a prophet I know that the Book of Mormon is true and there is no doubt in my mind that Joseph Smith had the power from God to bring The Book of Mormon forth, to lead and guide us in this day and age so that we can return to Him on the straight and narrow path. I know that our modern day prophet, Thomas S. Monson, is the one and only true prophet on the earth today, that he leads and guides this church and that he loves us. His faith and his influence is so strong that there is no way I could deny that he is a prophet called of God. I love knowing that I can and will return to my Father in Heaven if I live by His works and do as He asks.

How I live my faith

Growing up, while I was a young women, I had the amazing opportunity to serve as a leader for the other young women around me. I loved this calling. I turned to the Lord most often than not, to know what to do to help those young women in my ward. I will never forget the experience I had as a youth leader and now as I am serving the Lord, I depend even more on the Lord and turn to Him for help. I am so grateful for this gospel and all that is brings in my life and the many blessings from our Heavenly Father. I know this church is true and there is nothing that can tell me other wise.
