Hi I'm Aaron

I am an athlete. I have lived in Southern California and Utah. I am missionary in South Carolina and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Southern California til ten. Then moved to Utah living in both Alpine and Cedar Hills. There are a total of 9 people in my family and I love them very much. I enjoy playing sports, staying active, and going on adventures with my family. Currently serving a 2 year mission in South Carolina. You have probably seen the two guys in suits riding bikes and talking to everybody. That's me!

Why I am a Mormon

Growing up my parents and I have been active in the church. When I turned 8 years old I chose to be baptized by my father. As a young kid I did not fully understand the great significence of living a Christ centered life. As the years went on and I matured my testimony grew and an appreciation of having the restored gospel developed. My parents have brought peace and guidence into our family life because of the commandments and lifestyle they live and expect my siblings and I to live. One day when I have a family of my own, I want this same influence in my home as well. The gospel of Jesus Christ is here to help give us direction in life. It is a gift from our Heavenly Father and we can choose to listen to his counsel and guidence or to reject it. Choosing to be a doer of the word or gospel of Jesus Christ and following the direction has lead me personally to more true happiness than the world could ever offer. When keeping God's commandments, I realize we will not be held back, but directed to true joy and happiness in this life and the life after death. There are two adopted siblings in my family and they have been sealed to our family in the Temple for all time and eternity. In other words, because of the temples we have here on the earth today, we can be with our families in Heaven and the life to come.

How I live my faith

Currently I am living my faith by dedicating 2 years of my life to serve other people on a volunteer church mission in the South Carolina, Columbia Mission. Everyday I get the opportunity to share the restored truths of the Gospel of Jesus Christ with people I have never met before. Most say it is a big sacrifice, which it is, but it is worth it because of blessing after blessing as the work of spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ ultimately brings more happiness and light to the world.
