Hi I'm Doug Brown

I grew up in Las Vegas, NV and now live in Colorado with my incredible wife and 3 beutiful children. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Las Vegas, NV playing as much golf as possible with an incredible group of friends who helped me mature in the gospel. After graduation I attended Brigham Young University where I studied Finance at The Marriott School of Management. I served a mission in Madrid, Spain where I fell in love with the European people and culture. One of my current passions was born while in Spain and that road cycling. I try to cycle and enjoy anything outdoors as much as my busy schedule will allow. While at BYU I met my incredible wife. We were married in the San Diego Temple and have sinced been blessed with 3 beutiful children. We currently live in Castle Rock, CO and love teaching our children about the Savior and His gospel. Life has been an adventure and the only way we have been able to thrive is by living the gospel.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because it is God's true gospel here on the Earth today. I'm a Mormon because the Book of Mormon is true which means that Joseph Smith restored God's church. I'm a Mormon because I love my Savior and try to live by His commandments. I'm a Mormon because it will help me live with my Heavenly Father again. I'm a Mormon because it teaches myself and family how to live virtuous lives of character. I'm a Mormon because I will be with my family throughout eternity. I'm a Mormon because it is true.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by first and foremost following the Savior's example. I am a loving father and husband and do everything I can to provide and protect them. I read the scriptures as much as I can so I can better understand God's plan for us. I serve others whenever possible. I am currently serving the Ward Clerk in our ward and spend countless hours helping the ward run smoothly so that members can fully receive the blessings of a ward family. I teach my children to pray and love our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. Words cannot describe how it feels to see them gain tesitmonies of Jesus Christ for themselves. I try to be the best example I can be to my coworkers and friends who are not Mormon. They can see the difference that it has made in my life.
