Hi I'm Lance

I am a Medical student and outdoor enthusiast. Most importantly, I'm a one of them Mormons.

About Me

I am a simple Medical student attending an international medical school. I spent the last 16 months in the island and independent country of Dominica in the West Indies. I have a great passion for medicine, singing, outdoors, and the Church of Jesus Christ of latter-day Saints.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a Mormon from the womb, I was baptized to the Church of Jesus Christ at age eight, and later became truly converted to the church through my experiences with the Holy Ghost and the Holy scriptures. These scriptures include the New testament, Old testament, Book of Mormon, Doctrine and Covenants, and Pearl of Great Price. I am a member of this church because I know it to be Christs organization on the earth today, organized identical to the church he established when he was on the earth, and the only church that carries the Priesthood of God. This Priesthood is essential for saving ordinances required to receive eternal salvation, and the mansion that he prepared for us in the Heavens.

How I live my faith

People that know me, know that I am a Mormon. If I am not in class or in clinicals, I am either studying, or spending time with my small branch of young single adults in the Fort Lauderdale Florida area. We get together to talk about the scriptures and play an activity on Monday nights, go to a Scripture class on Thursday nights, and attend church on Sunday mornings. Every month we gather a group and go to the Orlando temple 4 hrs away, to serve in the Temple of our Lord. We also get together with other Single adults on a monthly bases and have a dance. I serve as a Missionary in the Branch (local congregation) helping to assist the full-time missionaries. These are the guys you see walking around or riding their bikes with the name tags and white shirts. I help to coordinate getting investigators to church, and helping them feel welcome at church and activities. I love serving in the church, and don't know of any greater joy then to see those investigating the gospel catch fire and accept Christs Church.
