Hi I'm Kristin

I love living in the desert. I work as a volunteer, breastfeeding counselor. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a wife to a wonderful man and a mom of three energetic and dramatic girls (ages 9, 6, and 3). As if that doesn't keep me busy enough, I work as a substitute teacher a few days a week. I have a Bachelors of Music, in Vocal Performance, and focused mainly on the study of opera. Music has always been, and will always be, a big part of my life. And now I am currently serving as my ward choir director. I love leading the church choir!

Why I am a Mormon

I've prayed about all of my "religious" questions throughout life, and I've always received an answer that has led me to The Book of Mormon. I have a testimony that it is scripture from prophets of God. I have learned so much from that book! And, I still have much more to learn. I am so glad we have a prophet here and now to guide us through such troubling times. Whenever I have a trial or question about life I can turn to the teachings of the prophets in The Bible, The Book of Mormon, and the prophets of today.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith everyday by how I treat others. For me, "loving my neighbor" when I'm having a bad day is the most difficult thing to do! Maybe it's the diva in me, but I have to constantly keep my reactions in check. I pray for strength every day... sometimes all day. I volunteer with a non-profit organization that helps mothers and babies. It's such a wonderful feeling to help others find the information and help they need. It helps me have a better day, and I know that I am coming a little closer to gaining some more Christlike qualities. I also serve at church as a the ward choir director. I'm so blessed to be able to use my music background to lead the choir. Music adds so much more spirituality to a church meeting, and I get to be a part of that!
