Hi I'm Russell

I am a lucky husband, daddy to 4 beautiful kids, and an IT Manager for a software company. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a husband to the most amazing women in the world. We are busy raising four sweet children who constantly make life exciting. I work as an IT Manager for a company that develops software for healthcare systems. I enjoy being outdoors camping, hiking, riding ATVs, fishing and wake boarding. I also enjoy woodworking, making toys for my kids and other pieces of furniture for our house.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of latter day Saints. Although I was taught the gospel as a child, there came a point in my life that I had to know for myself whether or not all the teachings were true. I remember specifically praying one day about whether or not Joseph Smith was a prophet. It's hard to explain the feelings that came into my heart and mind that day, but I knew without a doubt that it he was a prophet. I have continued to build upon this truth, and have gained my own testimony of the truthfulness of this gospel, and of God, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Ghost. Additionally, I love knowing that my wife and my children can be together forever, not just together in this life.

How I live my faith

I was blessed to grow up in the church, which provided me many opportunities to participate in service projects for our community. I was able to go on a mission and teach the wonderful people of Perth Western Australia about Heavenly Father and His son Jesus Christ. I grew to love the people of Australia and the opportunities to serve others. I have been blessed to work with and serve the children and teenage youth in the church. I have enjoyed participating in service projects that the youth design and in the Scouting program. I am currently serving as a leader of the organization for the men in the church that are over 18 years old. I love serving my friends and neighbors and am grateful for the blessings that come into my life, as well as the lives of my children and wife, through the service rendered.
