Hi I'm Paul

I'm Australian. I'm a husband and father. I'm an army officer. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have spent most of my life living in Australia. Growing up, I loved playing basketball and spending time with friends. I hold a BA, Grad and Dip Ed and am working towards an MEd. I spent 18 months living in Mexico, where I met my wife. I joined the Australian Army in 2008 as an education officer. I am trying to learn several languages including Spanish, Adobe CS and toddler.

Why I am a Mormon

My siblings and I were raised by strong LDS parents who gave us the freedom to choose our beliefs. I have four sisters and two brothers, but only three of us are practicing Mormons. I chose to commit to the faith after when I was 19. I have never regretted my decision and can attribute every good thing I have in my life to the gospel of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I have a strong testimony of the value of serving others. As a young man, I was given an assignment as an assistant ward clerk. This calling inspired me to attend church and allowed me to work closely with some great priesthood holders who showed me the importance of serving. I have since been called to work with the Aaronic priesthood, young single adults and elders. I am currently serving as a counselor in the branch presidency.
