Hi I'm Stephanie

I am a wife, Mom to 5 kids and a convert. Yes, I am Mormon.

About Me

I LOVE to sing! I am a member of the MCOAmerica choir. It's a great place for people who like to sing to come together for a greater purpose. I am also a mom. I have 5 kids. Our last 3 were a set of triplets! So I belong to a couple of multiple groups. One that is local, and one that is on line. The local group meets once a month and has lots of members with twins and triplets. It is really nice to have people that understand what multiples are like. My Online group is all triplet Mom's and we chat when ever we feel the need. I like to read and visit with my friends when I have spare time. I love to cook! I am a vegetarian but my husband and kids all eat meat so I cook lots of things with and without meat. I have been a Veggie all my life so cooking meat was something I had to learn to do when I got married. But I think I have picked up on it OK. At least the family doesn't complain too much :)

Why I am a Mormon

This is he most important part of my life! I was raised a Seventh Day Adventist. The two religions are very similar. When I started learning about the Mormon church I couldn't deny it's truthfulness. I know that the spirits that fought for Christ in Heaven, those spirits where us. We are the ones that wanted Christs plan! We did not want Satan's plan. We were those spirits, we needed to come to earth to get a body, and Jesus Christ would be our redeemer so that we could make it back home. The Holy Ghost testified to me so strongly that what I was being told was true, to deny it would have been to deny Jesus Christ himself. I know this is the true church! I know that Jesus Christ died for us and that he atoned for out sins. I know with all my heart that Jesus Christ was resurrected that he lives, and because of that all man kind will be resurrected at the second coming. I know this to be true with all my soul. I love my Savior, I love my Heavenly Father and I am so grateful that the have provided a way for me to be with my family forever and to return to live with them.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith in the way I do things. The way I conduct myself every day not just on Sunday. I would hope if someone saw me during the week they would know that I was doing the things I should be and acting the way I should be for a Mormon. At church I teach the Youth, the 16 year old. They are a lively group of kids with such sweet spirits. They are trying so hard to make good choices and do what is right. They remind me that they have it hard. They are faced with so many challenges, with school and kids and trying to fit in. I am grateful I am an adult and I have my testimony to keep me strong and I also don't have to face the same challenges they do. I recently had the privilege of being the ward camp director. The girls going to camp had to plan a service project. We helped out at the AZ special Olympics. It was so neat to see these girls help the athletes. As the girls leader it was great for me to see the girls serve and take that leadership role. A lot of what our church teaches revolves around serving others and giving of yourself, this services project was perfect for teaching that principal to the girls, although it seemed most of them already had it down pretty good.
