Hi I'm Randy

I live in the Pacific Northwest and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a husband and a father. I have been married to my wife for 18 years. We have 2 wonderful children. I love spending time with my family. I am employed as the manager of a retail and commercial tire center. I stay really active and have many hobbies. Some of which include riding my Harley Davidson motorcycle or spending time in the outdoors through various activities. I love to participate in sport activities, even though my body is telling me I am getting old. I am also an avid college football fan. I enjoy life.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I have many family members and friends that are also members of this church. It is the only true and living church upon the face of the Earth. It is the only church that holds all the rights, and privilages, and authority from God. The gospel principles and complete doctrine taught within the church are true and correct. I have received and gained a personal witness and a knowledge that what I believe is true. I believe in God the Eternal Father and in his son Jesus Christ. I believe that they are mindful of our needs and desires and love each of us individually. I know that Jesus Christ stands at the head of this church. I know that we have a living prophet on the earth at this time just as we have had in the past that lead and guide us. The precepts taught within the church and the choices that we make concerning gospel principles can lead to our eternal salvation. These same principles also lead to our peace and happiness and the purpose of this life. I am truly blessed to be a member of this church. It is a real part of who I am.

How I live my faith

The opportunities to exercise my faith and beliefs are many. I have served in many capacities throughout my years in the church from youth programs to adult auxillary organizations to service as a full time missionary. This has been a blessing in my life. I presently serve as an Elders Quorum President in my church which is an organization within our church that teaches men to become better husbands, fathers, sons, family members and people. My goal is to follow the example of Jesus Christ in all that I do. I truly believe that it is important that I follow my church standards and standup for my convictions and beliefs. I try and live by the golden rule and "treat others as I would want to be treated". I believe that we will be rewarded and held accountable by God for our choices. This is a driving force in my decision process in my own life.
