Hi I'm Kelli

I'm a working student living life to its fullest, going on adventures and creating new stories. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in Mesa, Arizona, I'm a sophomore at ASU studying Kinesiology and aspiring to become a Physical Therapist, perhaps in Pediatrics. I love to do a variety of things; I'm a band geek, a master doodler, I absolutely love making ugly faces with my family, taking pictures, I enjoy writing random short stories, I go bouldering a few times a week and my latest favorite activity has been spelunking in the Mud Caves with my friends. I'm an optimist and usually have a great big smile on my face. Sometimes I carry a toddler-sized skeleton around with me. His name is Tommy, he helps me study bones.. and start many interesting conversations with new people. I'm usually up for going out and experiencing new activities, especially if it involves the outdoors. I'm just living my life one day at a time and making the most of it.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I know for myself that this is the true church of Jesus Christ. Having the knowledge of the Gospel in my life has brought so much peace and comfort, and there is no mistaking the power that it has to change lives. I have never been happier than when I carry the Light of Christ within me. I try to picture how my life might be different if I were a part of another religion, but nothing else feels right. There are times at church, while listening to the speakers, that I wonder how anyone can doubt this wonderful truth that has been given to us. I, and those around me, were placed in this world at a specific time for a reason. God has a purpose for everything and everyone, and though I may not know fully what that is yet, I know everything will happen as it should and blessings will come from it.

How I live my faith

I am part of the Family Home Evening Committee in my ward. I help plan and organize the weekly activities my ward holds. Through FHE events, I'm able to get to know a lot of people in the ward; I love it. Apart from my calling, I live my faith through example, friendship, and service.
