Hi I'm Sandi

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

About Me: I'm the mother of four children and we have 11 grandchildren. We hold a camp with our grandchildren each summer called EFG-especially for grandkids, which is a lot of fun. We don't let their parents come so they behave wonderfully. I graduated from Brigham Young University with a BS in elementary education. I enjoy riding my bike with friends and my husband. We live in a wonderful community with many bike trails. It's neat to go for a ride in the early evening or morning when it's cool and the day is just ending or beginning. I enjoy teenagers and work with that age group in our local Church congregation. My hobbies are quilting, knitting, entertaining, and bike riding.

Why I am a Mormon

Our Church emphasizes the importance of families. We believe that the family is the most important organization in society and that our families will extend on into eternity. This brings great joy to me. It makes me happy and brings peace and hope into my life. I appreciate the opportunities that being a member of this church brings to me. I've found great joy in serving others through opportunities the Gospel has brought to me. These bring really rich, wonderful experiences into my life. Christ "went about doing good." The Gospel gives me the opportunity to do likewise. I'm very grateful for this. Through my daily scripture study and prayer and a lifetime of service to others, I've come to know that this is the true Gospel of Jesus Christ and that Christ is the Savior of all mankind.

How I live my faith

For most of my adult life I have had the opportunity of working with the young women, ages 12 to 18. It is my very favorite thing to do. I have been able to teach them many things, such as baking chocolate chip cookies, baking bread, and knitting. I have also been able to plan and organize many activities and events for my church group.
