Hi I'm Sean

I am a CPA by profession but a Mormon at heart. I grew up in the church in a small town in Idaho.

About Me

I grow up in a small community Idaho but now live with my family in the great state of Arizona. My family is very important to me. I am a father of 5 great kids. My hobbies are centered around my wife and children. I enjoy golf, swimming, traveling, warm weather, and the sports my children are currently playing. Most of my travel has been the US but would like to visit Europe sometime in the future. I spend most of my day as a CPA in the area of tax. I have also enjoy the practice of public accounting.

Why I am a Mormon

I have alway been a member of the church. Many of the ansestors were members. Growing up as a member of the LDS church has it advantages and disadvantages. Many of the teaching of the LDS church my be strange to non-member but have always been part of my life. Growing up in a small town that was pratically all of the LDS faith, I was not introduced to other religions until later in life. My first experiances of other religions was when I served a two year mission in Brasil. I learned then that people have the same basis knowledge of good and evil. I came to know that most people believed in some kind of higher being and there was more to life than just living. There is a purpose to life and it is our responbility as childern of our Heavenly Father to find out what life is all about. Eventhough, I was taught from an early age that the LDS faith is the church Christ has restored to earth through Joseph Smith, I have come to know that it is true. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Sants teaching have brought me understanding of the purpose of life. There is ture meaning to life and why we are here. Our Heavenly Father does have plan for us and Christ is at the center. All we have to do is believe in Christ and learn of him. You will come to the knowledge that he does live and if we want to live with our Heavenly Father after this life, we need to accept Christ as our Savior, live the commandments he has given us, and join his church.

How I live my faith

Since the LDS church dose not have paid clergy, there are several opportunities to serve in the church. I have servied in various postions. I have worked with the men's organizations as well with various youth aspects of the church. Currently with 5 kids, I spend most of time with the youth in some form or fashion. It brings me great joy to see my kids grow and learn of life.
