Hi I'm Paul

I retired from the U.S. Army in May 1998. I have served as an adult scout leader for over 27 years. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

After retiring from the Army, I graduated from Dental Hygiene school in 2000 and worked in this field since graduating. I enjoy cycling and running. Trying to get better at swimming. Thinking of doing a triathlon. Enjoy scouts and helping young men earn the Eagle rank.

Why I am a Mormon

I joined the church when I was 16 years old. My sister had joined about a year earlier and invited me to a "meeting". It was the missionary discussions. As they spoke, it felt as if I had known all along, but had forgotten. I felt my eyes were opened and a voice kept saying you know this is true. I remembered dreams I had when I was younger that confirmed things that I was hearing. I was baptized, served a mission when I turned 19, married in the temple, and try to live the principles of the gospel ever since.

How I live my faith

As I mentioned before, I have worked with scouting for about 27 years. I currently am the adult leader for the 12 to 18 year- old and work specifically with the 16 to 18 year-old. Enjoy activities, church services and just associating with them.
