Hi I'm Kenny

I'm from Chandler AZ. I graduated from the University of Arizona. I've been in healthcare sales my whole career. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a husband and dad. Best two jobs in the world. I recently saw both of my oldest daughters marry fine young men. My son is in high school and likes sports and my youngest is a dancer. As a family we love to camp and hike. I enjoy surfing the internet and love to follow college basketball. I enjoy listening to my wife play the piano, she has really developed this talent and utilizes it in the home, at church and in the community we live in. I love public speaking, call me nuts, but I love the preparation and study that goes into lecturing or teaching. We have dogs...did I mention we have dogs? We have two at our house, a pomeranian and a mutt our married daughters have a beagle and a terrier. When we are all together its a little nuts!

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised a mormon by my mom, who recently passed away. She would kneel with me each night as a youngster and taught me to pray. I can still remember the prayer I prayed each night. Looking back, I am thankful for a mother who was such as a great example in reading her scriptures, serving and loving everyone she met. My father was a great man, raised a baptist, he deferred to mom in raising the children when it came to religion. Given this, he taught me to work, a farmer by trade, he used to come home dirty from head to toe. After showering he would head out the door to coach baseball, football, and basketball. He was so charitable. Often he would buy new gloves, or other athletic equipment for those who were less fortunate. His example as a charitable person set such a great example for me. When I informed my parents that I wanted to serve mission, my father was very supportive and mother just cried. It was on my mission that I came to know my Savior; and had many witnessess that Jesus died for us. I was promised while serving my mission, by my mission president, that my father would join the church if I served a faithful mission. I'm not perfect, nor do I pretend to be prefect, far from it, but I knew I needed to be an example to my father and others. After completing my mission, marrying in the Temple and trying to raise my family to be good christians and citizens, my father knocked on my door eight months before he passed and asked me to baptize him. My prayers were answered and have been ever since throughout my life as I've tried to emulate my parents and the many good traits they instilled in me (prayers, scriptues, service, charity and work ethic). I know that there is a God, he loves me and my family and everyone that he has placed on earth. Like long ago, we have a living prophet on the earth today. This alone ensures me that God loves us and wants us to know his will. I know the Book of Mormon and the Bible are the word of God.

How I live my faith

Currently in the church I serve as a leader over the missionary work in the Stake. The Stake is made up of Wards and together the Wards and Stake work together to share the message that Jesus is the Christ. That he died for us on Calvary. That he was raised after three days and lives and leads the church today. I'm lucky, I see lives blessed; from fellow neighbors and family members as the accept Jesus as their savior and change their lives for the good. My goal in life is to "make people feel good about themselves".
