Hi I'm Kandi

I am a mormon, with a great love for the gospel of Jesus Christ.

About Me

I like working on graphic design projects, spending time outdoors, and spending time with family. I have lived in Colorado for a year and a half and absolutely love it here. My husband and I are both working really hard at this time in our lives to reach important goals. We are both done with college, and are working on starting a family and learning to enjoy the little things in life that are important. The quality of time we share with each other is becoming more important to us. Who knows what the future holds and how busy we will become. We know the strength of our relationship will get us through those times.

Why I am a Mormon

I choose to be a mormon because of the way the gospel makes me feel. There is a scripture that talks about by their fruits, ye shall know them. The feelings of strength, peace, comfort, joy, and happiness I feel in following the Savior are the fruits I enjoy. I don't feel lost or alone as I serve, learn, and teach the gospel. During times of hardship in my life the scriptures, going to church, and serving blesses me with peace and understanding of what I am supposed to do. The gospel clears my mind and gives me the knowledge I need to get safely through this life. I have worked with so many people that have so many questions in life. I feel comforted to know that I have the know how to find answers to my prayers and know how to help myself and my family. That gives me joy to know that there are so many things for me to look forward to in my future, and most importantly to not fear the future.

How I live my faith

I am honored to teach eight and nine year old children in our church. The faith of a child is perfect and wonderful to behold. As adults we get busy and forget what that faith is like. Through serving the children I get to feel of there love for the Savior which in turn strengthens my testimony. I try to be an honest and faithful member of the church and in our community. I try to be a good example to those I work with. Getting to know people you work with and seeing their strengths, not focusing on their weaknesses, helps me to be better. Loving people for who they are is important. Christ showed love for everyone no matter who or what their circumstances may be. We can learn a lot from him and how to be better people. I am trying as well to better at home. A better wife and preparing to be a good mother is also very important for me.
