Hi I'm Zachary Vineyard

I am recent graduate from ASU. I am geologist and geographer. I am original from Idaho. I love baseball. I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I was born in Idaho. I lived in Idaho for most of life, though I have made stops in Oklahoma, Florida, Kentucky, Utah, Colorado, Texas, Ecuador and now Arizona. I am an Eagle Scout and a member of the Order of the Arrow. I served a mission in Ecuador, Quito, I love that country! I graduated from Brigham Young University - Idaho with a degree in geology, I just finished a master's degree at Arizona State University in geographic Information Science. I collect cool rocks and minerals. I love maps, thats the best part about getting the National Geographic Magazine! I enjoy sports of all types, but Baseball and Football(soccer) are my favorites! I would like to see every national park at some point in my life!

Why I am a Mormon

I know the Church of Jesus Christ is true. They are is a small group of people that became my friends at a very bad time in my life. Though them I was able to start being happy. I was raised in the church but it wasn't until high school that I learned the church is true. This amazing group of people saved me and showed me what happiness really is. I now do my best to be as good as I can be in life. I am far from perfect but I know how I can become more like our savior Jesus Christ. I love this church, I am happiest when I am doing my best to be like Jesus. The Book of Mormon is true, it will change your life. I was a very angry, mean, bitter person but these true friends, the Book of Mormon and the church helped me change. I have hope that tomorrow will be a good day and I will be a better person! Read the Book of Mormon you won't regret it!

How I live my faith

I attended a small congregation of young adults or a Young Single Adult Branch, that are in college or are working. I have had the opportunity help organize Family Home Evening on Sunday evenings for the members of this group. Now I get to help organize the branch as a secretary to our Branch President. I work hard to be kind and loving to everyone I meet. Things like genealogy and serving in the church run caneries are things that I love to do to live my faith.
