Hi I'm Martin Anthony O'Laughlin

I am have grown up all around Texas. I am a average joe with an above average heritage and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a lover of words! I have too many books and I am constantly reading three or four at a time. I am a student who is striving to get a degree so he can find a good job. I am a full time cubicle warrior who may sometimes start rubber band bombardments. I am a lover of the outdoors. I love photography. I am a ex gymnastics coach! I had 130 odd students that I adored dearly and miss every day. I am a patient man who is not quick to anger. I am Texan. I am comic book and video game nerd. I am a tiny branch member. I am a man who is always striving to do better. I am a son of God and I am a Mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because two Elders got lost during winter and decided that might as well start knocking on the doors were they where at. Inviting them in I had no idea who or what they were apart of or what was to come. I spent well over six months investigating the The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. The members are amazing kind people people that any one should inspire to be like. However, in the end however I decided to ask of God if this was his one true church. I received my answer :) I was baptized on Fathers Day and since blessings have poured into my life. Living a Christ centered life is not always easy but I promise you that as you continue to do your life will be filled with joy and meaning. Becoming a Mormon is entering Jesus Christ's living church and there is no greater blessing.

How I live my faith

I live my faith with my every day actions. Kindness is a huge part of it. To members and non members alike some one always needs help with something. Remember that a simple smile or quick compliment given with sincerity can change a entire persons day. When ever the branch needs a volunteer I am never shy to apply myself and do all I can to help anyone. Remember Mosiah 2:17 "When ye are in the service of your fellow beings ye are only in the service of your God"
