Hi I'm Jonathan

I'm married to the most beautiful girl in the world, I have seven siblings, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I really like rock climbing and anything active. I have spent most of my life in Illinois after having moved around to Utah, Missouri, California, and even Canada before hand. I've been married to my best friend for five years now and it's been the best decision I've ever made.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the church and I am so greatful for that. The church has been a big part of my life and I feel so blessed. As I have served the Lord and tried to spread this gospel that has brout me so much happiness I have come to know for my self that it is true.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by sharing it. I make my religion a part of who I am and I try to help share that part of me with others.

Why do Mormons believe in the Bible?

Jonathan
We believe in the Bible because it is the word of God just like the Book of Mormon. We believe that they are each testimonies of Jesus Christ and they support eachother to clarify doctrine. Show more Show less

Why is it important for us to take care of our bodies? Why are our bodies called temples of God in the Bible?

Jonathan
Our bodies are gifts from God. Like any gift we show our respect and gratitude for that gift by how we treat and use it. Our bodies are refered to as temples in the Holy Bible because they are tabernacles that the Holy Spirit can dwell in. This is also another reason why taking care of them is so essencial. So that we can make it possible for the Holy Spirit to dwell in us. Show more Show less

Why are only some Mormons allowed into temples? Is there something secret going on in Mormon Temples? What goes on in Mormon Temples?

Jonathan
It isn't that we want to exclude others from entering our temples. In fact we would love it if any and all of God's children were able to enter, but that being said there is a standard of worthiness. There is a standard of worthiness set in order to enter the temple because the temple is a holy place and people need to be spiritually prepared for what occurs inside. In temples we make sacred promises to our Father in Heaven that if we keep can allow us to live with Him once again as a family unit. We also work to provide others with the same opportunity who have not had the opportunity to do so for themselves. Show more Show less
