Hi I'm Alex Brockbank

I love being with my family and friends. I love sports, movies and smiling. and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to get out and do stuff. Playing sports or just hanging out with my family and friends is how i usually accomplish that. But, I am also guilty of watching a ton of movies. I do love to get out and move around, but i love to relax to a movie also. I love to travel, and i especially love big city vacations like New York or Chicago, but as long as i'm around my family and friends all is well. I'm the youngest of 3 boys in my family, with wonderful parents who always seemed to have their hands full with 3 sons :)

Why I am a Mormon

I was blessed to grow up in a Mormon family and was taught from youth about the gospel of Jesus Christ. Through the process of time, and through experience, I've come to know for myself that its not just another religion, but the restored church of Jesus Christ. The hope and happiness that comes from being a "Mormon" is unbelievable, and impossible to fully describe. Some say "too good to be true," but in reality, its so good because it Is true :)

How I live my faith

I live my faith by always trying to do my best, and help others. As a modern day apostle, Elder Joseph B Wirthlin, once said, "The simple secret is this: Trust in God, and do your best, and leave the rest to him." As i've come to this knowledge, its given me understanding of the true purpose of life, and why its so important to thank God for the opportunities and challenges we have in this life.

Why is family so important to Mormons?

Alex Brockbank
Family is so important to us because it is central to Heavenly Fathers plan for us. We know that families can extend past this life and into the next. My family may not be perfect, and we may not always agree on everything, but the life lessons and experiences I've recieved from, and with, my family make me a better person :) Show more Show less
