Hi I'm staci

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a mother of three and have been married for 14 years to my eternal companion and love of my life. I am just finishing up my Master's Degree in Counseling. I love to sew, stitch, garden, can and have fun with my children. I also enjoy camping and playing the piano (although I am still learning).

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that this is the way to come back to our Heavenly Father. I have a testimony of why we are here on this earth, what we are doing here and how to make it back to our eternal families and Heavenly Father when our time on this earth is over. I know that this earthly life is just one part of our lives and that we had a pre earth life and we will have a post earth life to live. I can testify that I find great peace and happiness in this gospel and by living my life as our Heavenly Father has outlined for us in this gospel.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by sharing the gospel plan with others around me that are interested in what our faith has to offer. I spend a lot of my free time trying to lift others, assisting them with addictions and other struggles in this life that bring sadness and pain. I know that all people are children of God and that they deserve to be as happy and fulfilled as I am blessed to be and I want to help them to feel happiness and peace in their lives as well.

Why don’t women hold the priesthood in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints? How do Mormon women lead in the Church?

staci
I have a strong testimony of the priesthood and how it has blessed my life. I am a very strong woman whom has been a leader in many avenues of my career and life, however I completely support the way the church has been set up by our Heavenly Father, especially with regards to the priesthood. Women have many important offices in the church to hold, one of which is Motherhood. Being a mother is one of the most time consuming, trying, and joyful things I have done. It is very fulfilling, but also takes much of my time. I know that my Father in Heaven meant for me to be a Women and to raise a family with my husband's support and assistance, I also know that he has a responsibility to provide for myself and our children so that I am free to care for their needs. This does not mean that he does not attend to the children, in fact, since I am in school, he attends to them just as much as I do and we make compromises to make our family work. But I enjoy the blessings that the priesthood brings to our family through my husbands righteousness, and never worry that his responsibilities are more prestigious than me, in fact we are very much equals, as it is intended to be.
