Hi I'm Taylor

I like Legos, I study physics and engineering, I like to chill and above all I'm a Mormon.

About Me

First things first. I'm a chill guy. Music (depending on the kind) is great. I'm studying Mechanical Engineering with plans on technology developement in energy production. Learning how things work and why they work is super exciting to me, especially when it applies to everyday life. I find the mind fasinating! People watching is fun. Even more fun when I find my own little habbits and work on them. I find intelligence and observance much more fun than ignorance, faith more exciting than sight, and humility much stronger in character than pride. I do my best to live by this motto, "Life is to be exciting. Don't live it as a race, live it as an experience, enjoy the moment. Learn and grow. Trust God with all your heart and He will take care of you in the end."

Why I am a Mormon

My parents joined the church when I was 7 years old. I saw their example and a year later decided I wanted to do the same. I didn't understand the grand significance at the time, but now I see that Christ makes miracles happen around you according to your faith, obediance, and humility before God. One night, I decided that I would read the Book of Mormon all the way through in a record pace for me. Roughly 10 Chapters a night. After three weeks of reading I finished, prayed and found that it was true. I follow the Spirit in finding the truth. Above all, it just makes sense.

How I live my faith

I read the scriptures, pray, keep the commandments, and go to church. It's the simple things that make it easy to follow the gospel of Jesus Christ. I love seeing my understanding the gospel of Christ increase and how it applies in my life. When I act on the teachings of the gospel I see miracles happen and I end up trusting God even more. I have noticed that the gospel has to be in our hearts in order to see actual results. We need to have a willing heart to follow Christ. I am a child of God. I try to get an idea of who I want to be and then go for it. This is a step by step process, not a teleportation device.
