Hi I'm Peggy

I'm a wife, a mom, a grandmother (my grandkids call me "Mimi") and I work with my husband in real estate. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hi. I'm Peggy and I'm a Mormon. I'm also a wife, a mom, a grandmother and a business partner with my husband. I've been married to my sweetheart and soul mate for over 30 years. Together, we have 4 beautiful children and 4 wonderful grandchildren. I love my family and enjoying spending time and having fun with them. My husband and I own a real estate brokerage, where we primarily do residential property management, and we have worked together in our business for over 25 years. I enjoy being outside, especially on the water - we have a ski boat, and we've made many, many memories with our family and friends over the years having fun on the boat. I also enjoy water aerobics with my friends. I would like to say that I love to cook, but I can't say that - cooking is one of my least favorite things!

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I love my Savior, and I know the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is truly HIS Church. I know that this is HIS gospel. I have felt the joy that comes from obeying His commandments and choosing to follow Him. The gospel of Jesus Christ gives meaning and perspective to my life, and my faith gives me strength to deal with the challenges and adversities that life brings. I also love knowing that because of the restored gospel and priesthood power, I have been sealed to my family forever. There is no greater joy than knowing that I will be with my husband and family for the eternities to come.

How I live my faith

I am currently serving in a ward (congregation) comprised of young, single adults. This congregation is all single adults from the ages of 18 to 30, and I get to serve in a supportive capacity, working and serving with them in all their various activities. It allows me to be able to associate with them, serve with them, teach them, and be taught by them. Serving with these young people brings me great joy and is very energizing. My husband and I are also privileged to have 2 of our sons now serving full-time missions for the Church. It is indeed a sacrifice to have them each gone for 2 years, but the blessings that our family is receiving are innumerable. Both of our sons are extremely happy serving and introducing others to their Savior, helping others experience the joy that we feel as members of His church.

Do you really believe there is a prophet like Moses alive today?

Peggy
I know that there is a living prophet on the earth today, Just like Moses. I know this because I know that God loves His children. Because He loves us, He has given us a prophet who gives us the guidance and direction that we need in order to be able to return to Him. With all the turmoil, adversity, ill-will and evil that exists in the world today, now more than ever we need guidance from our Heavenly Father. His living prophet, Thomas S. Monson, is here to direct His Church and provide the world the direction needed to see through all the confusion and chaos of today's world. And it's important to understand that through President Monson, Father provides direction to the world, not just the members of the Church. Show more Show less
