Hi I'm Kathy

I am a wife, a mother of 4, a grandmother of 3, and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I love Jane Austin, patchwork quilting, and cooking for my family. I chose to be a stay at home mother, and with my youngest about to leave the nest, I can say I have no regrets. I grew up in a rural Autralian town with four brothers. My parents joined the church when I was three years old, so it has been a part of me my whole life.

Why I am a Mormon

I love what the gospel offers me and my family. We have enjoyed a life rich in good friends and god values. We have learned to work hard and serve others. In the 50-odd years experience I have of attending this church, I can say without hesitation that the principles taught can only foster feelings of love and goodness, and will make people happy.

How I live my faith

My role in the church at the moment involves looking after the welfare of all the women in our congregation and local community. We offer assistance in times of sickness, death and hardship. But we also provide activities to help strengthen the family unit. I volunteer at a local school as a teacher aide, providing assistance to children with special needs.
