Hi I'm Veronica

I'm a wife, I'm a student, I love interior design. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I was born in Tegucigalpa, Honduras and I lived there until I was seven years old. When I was seven I was adopted by my step dad and that's when I came to the United States. My mom is a convert to the Church and my Step-dad was born in the Church. When I turned eight I made the decision to be baptized and became a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. This was one of the best decision I've ever made. I am currently a stay at home mom to my beautiful two year old daughter and am due with my second baby any day now.

Why I am a Mormon

I know that we are all children of God and that he loves us and he knows all of us individually. I know that he has a plan of happiness for all of us. I love knowing that families can be together forever. I know that Jesus Christ is my savior and that he atoned for all of our sins. I love being part of this wonderful gospel and love all the happiness it bring to my life!:)

How I live my faith

I currently serve as the Primary CTR 5 teacher and absolutely love my calling. I loving going to church every Sunday and teaching all the five year olds. I love that from every lesson I teach I end up learning so much myself.

Can you tell me about Mormon customs: how you dress for church, what holidays you celebrate, etc.?

Veronica
Members attending Sunday services will most likely be wearing their “Sunday best,” which may include suits, sport coats, and ties for the men and modest dresses or skirts for the women. Children also typically dress up for Sunday. Members of the Church celebrate Christmas and Easter, regarding these two events as the most spiritually significant days in history because of the birth, suffering, death, and Resurrection of Jesus Christ. Church members also celebrate the regional and national holidays of the countries where they live. Church members also celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, and similar events. Show more Show less
