Hi I'm Lorraine

I have been a mormon all my life. I grew up in a very happy family.

About Me

I was born last of seven children to the best parents ever. I grew up on a farm. My Mom and Dad raised a huge garden and all the children helped weed. I got married to a great man and raised seven children of my own. I was a homemaker and wife most of the time my children were growing up. I did home day care for many years and this allowed me to stay home with my little ones. My children are all married now with children of their own. We have been very blessed with twenty three grandchildren.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints all of my life. I was baptized at the age of eight. I also was able to attend Primary, Sunday School, Young Women, and Relief Society, all of which have helped me through out growing up and motherhood. When I read the Book of Mormon for the first time there was no question of its truthfulness. Since then, it has played an important part of my scripture study.

How I live my faith

My favorite service in the church is teaching young children and the youth. When I was 13 i was asked to teach children music. I love the children's music in the church. It teaches them about Jesus Christ, faith, temples, principles of the gosple, prophets, and many other important ways to live. Our every day life is lived with gospel principles. I love talking to coworkers about what I believe. I have been very blessed because of my understanding of why I am on the earth and where I can be when I pass on. It gives me a desire to live a better life and I hope to share those teaching with others.
