Hi I'm Sarah

I'm majoring in Social Work, and I love people. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love people. I'm a missionary in the Canada Vancouver Mission. I am not exactly the most outgoing person you could ever meet; but I still have a sincere interest in people. This interest has fueled my interest to become a Social Worker. Naturally, people that have a desire to help others usually want to because they come from troubled situations themselves. I'm not going to explain them to you; but I just want people to know that I would never take away any of those difficult times because they have made me stronger; as they do others as well. I have two brothers; one older and the other younger. I LOVED growing up with boys; and I was a tom boy myself for until I hit Junior High. Good times :) I love to run, swim; generally stay active. I love to express myself through writing in a journal. I love listening to music and appreciating new experiences/cultures.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church; my father was a convert, but that never meant that he didn't allow me to find out for myself if there was a God, if the Book of Mormon is true, and if there was life after death. I am a Mormon because I have found through experience that doing these things--reading the Book of Mormon, praying, going to church--has brought me peace and joy that I could never find anywhere else. Even when life became difficult, I knew that staying faithful would bring me the peace and joy that I was looking for in my life. This gospel has always brought me happiness and until is stops from doing so I will always stay a Mormon. After all, why not do/try something that will make you happy?

How I live my faith

I have served as a teacher and counselor over the women in the congregation . I have grown to LOVE visiting and serving the women in my neighborhood; and I love sharing and teaching the gospel. so here I am, now serving an LDS mission for the next 18 months. I am grateful to be here to tell others of the joy that this church has brought to my life.
