Hi I'm TJ Hartman

I was born in California, raised in Sandy, Utah. I love music. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to listen to music. It serves as my getaway from reality. I also love to play instruments including, guitar, ukulele, drums, and a little bit of piano. I am from Sandy, Utah. I love to laugh and make other people laugh as well. I played Soccer all my life. I enjoy spending time with my friends and family. I love the outdoors, hiking, swimming, pretty much doing anything where I can enjoy the warmth of the sun :).

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised Mormon. All of my friends are Mormon as well. I was extremely blessed for the wonderful friends I have. They were definitely a positive influence to me growing up. My family is also very strong in the church. Another helpful foundation for me. I am Mormon because I know that this is the true church and nothing will ever change that!

How I live my faith

I live my faith by doing everything I am supposed to do. I read my scriptures, go to church and pray as often as I can. I have found out those are the three most important things we must do in order to draw closer to our Heavenly Father. I was always taught "the more obedient you are, the more freedom you will have". I never quite understood this until I took it upon myself to really strive to live the commandments. It was then I learned how the commandments are protective and not restrictive, as I once thought them to be. I absolutely love this faith so much because I love how personal it is. Every time I read the scriptures, something always relates to me personally, without fail. I know that we have a personal relationship with our Father in Heaven and Jesus Christ as well. This is the true church and I know that it is with every ounce of conviction in my body. I am grateful Heavenly Father loves me enough to have personal trials in my life so that I can grow from them! The church is true!!!
