Hi I'm London

Mormon lived upwards of 1600 years ago. I'm a latter-day saint.

About Me

I've lived in a lot of places, but I claim Arizona. I'm a sucker for the southwest. I've been there for the past five years, so it's home. Right now I'm in Austin, though. I'm serving a full-time mission for the church. When I'm done, I'll go back to college. I don't know what I'm going to get into yet. Turns out I'm pretty indecisive.

Why I am a Mormon

Because God exists. Because I want to be genuinely happy and that's not possible without knowing Him. We can come to know him only through His Son, Jesus Christ; by learning His teachings and living His gospel. The fulness of the gospel of Jesus Christ can be found in His restored church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. The Spirit of God told me so. That's why I'm a "Mormon."

How I live my faith

Well... I'm trying to be like Jesus.

Who was Joseph Smith?

After the ascension of Jesus and the lives and deaths of the Apostles, the church that Jesus Christ organized strayed from the perfect truth and fell into a period of spiritual darkness called "apostasy." Doctrines and teachings were changed and many churches were built upon the opinions of men rather than direct revelation from God. When God thought it prudent, in the 1800's, He chose a man to be His prophet. That man was Jospeh Smith. His calling and mission was to restore the Church of Jesus Christ to the earth along with its perfect teachings. With divine assistance from the Lord, he did so, and that church today is the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Show more Show less
