Hi I'm Beckie

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am my husbands' wife, I am my kids (4) Mom and I am my grandchildren's (11)Grandma! I live in the mountains of Colorado and I love it. I wear many hats during a day but my favorite ones are being a wife, mother and grandmother. I have been blessed to have been able to be a stay-at-home mom, with the opportunity of working from home. I do the book work for our companies. My favorite hobbies are baking, hiking, riding bikes, gardening, and making quilts and my most favorite is spending time with grandchildren.

Why I am a Mormon

Why I am a Mormon is that very early in my married life we were approached by the Missionaries. It was the best day of our lives, we began the journey of discovery. I have been able to get to know our Savior. It has helped us to raise our children with a knowledge of Him. The main thing we learned early was that we could be a family for eternity. That was the most wonderful thing I had ever heard. We began to learn how this could be. When we had seen the bigger picture it became very easy to live the commandments and try to be the person we wanted to be. It was also easier for our children to live righteously when they could feel and see the bigger picture. When you know who you are and you know why you are here, life is so much easier and happier. There has never been a day when I regretted becoming a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

How I live my faith

I try and live my life according to the ways Christ lived. I love serving others and find myself so busy some days that I can hardly believe I can get things finished. I try to be loving and kind, I try to be a good example. I work with the young women in our Church and I love this opportunity to teach and share with them. It is extremely hard for young people today and I hope that by me working with them they will have an easier time of things. Like I've said before I love being a Grandma and I love being able to help teach and guide their little minds. I believe that a Grandma can be a mentor, a friend and person who believes in you no matter what. So I live my faith to provide a good example for them. Life is easier when you have some one who supports you unconditionally. I try and live so they will want to see the bigger picture. I live, I love and I share; that is how I live my Faith.
