Hi I'm Matt Lundquist

I love sports, I am applying to dental school, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am attending University right now and I am majoring in Public Health with an emphasis in Industrial Hygiene. I am also in the process of applying to Dental school. I am married to my best friend and she is also attending University studying Elementary Education. We both have one more year of school. I enjoy the outdoors and being active. I have a passion for basketball and I love playing.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know it's true. I remember when I was about 16 or so I read the Book of Mormon, and at the end of the book there is a promise that says if you read the Book of Mormon and then sincerely pray and ask god if it is true he will tell. That is exactly what I did i prayed and asked and I know it to be a true record. I am so grateful for the gospel and the great happiness it brings to my life. I had the great opportunity to be a missionary for 2 years and that experience was one of the greatest in my life. Sharing the message that Jesus is our Savior and that he lives and loves us briought so much joy to my life. I know that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is his church and I am proud to share that with my friends and family. Choosing to follow our Savior's example has helped me become closer to him. I know that he suffered all things for us, so we can repent of the things we do wrong and return to live with him some day. We all make mistakes and through the Atonement of our Savior we can be forgiven of those mistakes. I am happy knowing that I can be with my family forever which brings peace and comfort to my life.

How I live my faith

I am the Financial clerk for the ward (congregation) that I attend. I am also assigned to visit a couple of the families within the ward and just make sure they are doing alright.
