Hi I'm Samantha

I'm a Texan and part North Carolinan. I love elephants, my family, blogging, and mexican food. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love my family! Anything that involves them is my favorite. Being an aunt is the BEST! I love to read and would love to publish my own book one day. I want to be a school teacher. I love love love aerobics and any other kind of group exercise. I especially love the time I spend with my dad at the gym. I also LOVE mexican food. I could probably live on chips and salsa. Lucky for me---my brother in law is from Mexico and cooks very well! I served a volunteer mission in North Carolina for eighteen months and it was an amazing time for me. I have many "adopted" family members there and have been blessed to know them. I learned so much about myself during that time because it was so challenging. I know that my life will be full of many other experiences that help me grow and develop.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a mormon because I am HAPPY! I feel good about the way we live. I feel blessed and at peace when I'm living how Heavenly Father wants me to live. I'm also mormon because I want to be with my family forever-- through righteous living and temple ordinaces we can be sealed to our families for eternity. I know that I belong to Christ's church, the one he established on the earth so many years ago, because I've prayed about it and searched the scriptures. I've felt the Holy Ghost, many times, confirm to me that it is true.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by doing the simple things that the Bible and Book of Mormon teach us. I attend church regularly, pray daily, study the scriptures, keep the 10 Commandments, and I try to have perfect faith that Heavenly Father is guiding my life where it needs to go. I've never been very good at sharing the gospel with others but my mission taught me how. I'm excited to share my happiness with EVERYONE I know. One thing that is very important to me in living my faith is trying to be like Jesus Christ. I want the people around me to know that I believe in and follow Christ.
