Hi I'm Stephanie

I was born and raised in Washington state. I have eight adopted siblings of different races and four biological siblings.

About Me

I am a poor college kid like most 21 year olds. My life consists of homework and working. It's great :) When time allows I love to make quilts, hats, scarves, and do other crafts like embroidery. I also like hiking, baking, longboarding, motorcycle riding, and skydiving. I skydived for the first time this summer and it was wicked awesome!! I like to travel too, though I have only been to a handful of places outside the US. (There are reasons why you never hear of a traveling college student... ) Other than that I just spend time with family and friends. It's a good life.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints though it was never forced on me to be one. I do have siblings who no longer practice this religion but I find great joy in it. I do not know everything about Christ or the gospel but I know that Christ lives and loves me so very very much. There is such peace in feeling His love for me and in the knowledge that I am a daughter of God. He is always there to comfort me and answers my prayers, even if I do not get the answer I want. The gospel of Jesus Christ makes so much sense and the better I live it, the happier I am. The principles of this gospel are true. They are free for everyone and will bring more joy and peace into any life than any amount of money could ever purchase. I am so blessed to have the gospel in my life and am so thankful to know that through Christ, my family and I can live together forever.

How I live my faith

I personally live my faith through daily prayers and scripture study. I try to serve others and help out whenever possible though I am not perfect and have missed many opportunities. Some opportunities were helping out during summer events at a nearby lake, helping those affected by flooding, helping to provide food to those in need, doing humanitarian aid projects, teaching gospel lessons at church, planning activities for young adults, and working in the church nursery. Like everyone, I am not perfect and do not live my faith perfectly. I just try to do the best I can, that's all I can do.
