Hi I'm Kemra

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife and a mother of 3 wonderful children. I love to reading, playing the piano, swimming and running. I am obsessed with college football and enjoy attending games with my husband.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints because it makes me happy! I was raised a member of this church, but as a teenager, I acquired my own testimony of the truthfulness of the gospel. This gospel brings peace and purpose to my life. My Heavenly Father loves me and has a plan for me and my life. I have learned for myself that obedience to the commandments is the only way to true happiness. I know that my Savior lives. He knows me personally. He knows my hurts and my fears, and He knows how to heal my heart. I have a loving Heavenly Father who wants what's best for me, and who sent His son to atone for my sins. I know that the Book of Mormon is truly the word of God. It is another testimony of Jesus Christ, and contains precious teachings and truths in it. It truly has changed my life for the better. I know that we lived before we came to this earth and that life continues after death. Families can be together forever! I am so grateful for the gospel of Jesus Christ. I would truly be lost without it!

How I live my faith

I practice my faith daily! We try to read the scriptures and pray daily as a family. I also personally study the scriptures and pray every day. We have family night every Monday evening, where we gather together as a family to learn about gospel principles, pray, and have fun together. It is a great opportunity to bond as a family. I am involved with the youth in our area. I help to plan uplifting activities for them to participate in, as well as instruct them in Sunday meetings. I have seen the Lord work miracles in the lives of these young people. I know that he is aware of them individually and loves them more than we know! Living my faith is more than attending church on Sunday. It is a way of life. It helps me to become a better person. It helps me to set standards that help me decide what music to listen to, TV programs and movies to watch, and how I interact with others. Living the gospel is a way of life! It helps enrich my life and make it more meaningful. I love living the gospel!
