Hi I'm Lynne

I love being with my family and friends and meeting new people. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Southern Idaho, then moved to Washington when my husband was hired by Boeing. I love to read good books, cook new foods, go river rafting, bicycling and camping. I have always loved nature and the outdoors. After my children grew up, I got a job at a dentist office and enjoy meeting new people and helping the patients.

Why I am a Mormon

I became best friends with our bishop's daughter in fourth grade and she invited me to go to the children's meeting at the LDS church with her. Whenever I was there, I felt a warm spirit and felt like the people there cared for me. As I got older, I started to go to the Sunday meetings and learn more about the Gospel. I have always found comfort in the teachings of Jesus and found great friendships with those I attend church with.

How I live my faith

I believe one of the greatest things I learned from Jesus' teachings is to treat others the way I want to be treated - "Whatever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them." I believe the people around me are my brothers and sisters and I try to be kind to them. I have been blessed to work in the youth organization for many years. I love to see their enthusiasm and how they strive to stay clean in today's world. Some of my fondest times have been at the yearly camp that is held in the summer for the teenage young women. They are able to get away from the noise of the world and enjoy God's creations and feel His spirit.
