Hi I'm Trachel

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife and a mother to 4 fun girls! Keeping up wtih them and teaching them all they need to know is my focus. Well, that making time for fun decorating of my house! I love to rearrange my funiture and look for fun things at yard sales and antique stores. I am a homebody, it is my favorite place to be! So i guess that is why I like changing it and making it fun! I love flowers, and watermelon and rocking my kids when they are sick. I like talking with people making them laugh. As a kid I always wanted to be a stand up comedian, that didn't happen though. So now I just try to make people laugh as often as I can. Even though my husband disagrees, I am the funnest person in our family!

Why I am a Mormon

I have been blessed to be Mormon all my life. I don't know how I got so lucky! I admire someone who joins the church through seeking it out or through hearing about it on their own. What faith! I have just always had a firm testimony that what my family and church leaders were teaching me was true. I didn't need to seek for happiness or answers, I already had them. It just felt right to me. Even as I matured and went out on my own, the church wasn't something I wanted to escape. It was what I wanted to hold on to and share with others. I am a Mormon because I know this is God's church on the earth and because I know it leads us back to our Heavenly home.

How I live my faith

Living my Faith to me is really "just living." Pretty much every choice I make, thing I do or how I react in situations is all attributed to my faith. It isn't a "Sunday only" religion. And that is what I love about it! It is a way of life! I do serve in the organization over the children in the church. The Primary. I, along with other ladies plan and help the leaders over the Primary to know the best ways to teach children the gospel and help them increase their faith in Jesus Christ. All of my girls attend Primary each week, it is there that they learn the basics of the church, sing songs and grow closer to Christ.

Do you really believe there is a prophet like Moses alive today?

Yes! Without a doubt! Why woundn't there be? God loves us just as much as he loved the people anciently, and he wants us to know His will on earth. The Holy Ghost (a gift we are blessed with at baptism) affirms to me that prophets exist today and lead our church. Show more Show less
