Hi I'm Kelly

I'm a former college basketball player from California. I'm currently serving a mission in Japan & I love it! I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a convert to the church and absolutely love it! I grew up in the Catholic faith and was always surrounded by family members and friends who loved me. I was the only member of my family to join the church when I was baptized at age 19. It was a difficult process, but the Lord has blessed me so much and I have never regretted my decision. Now I'm serving a mission for 18 months to help share this great message that I've been lucky enough to receive with the people of Japan. I couldn't be more excited! Before my mission, I was a college basketball player and absolutely LOVE any and all sports. I love watching movies, being active, laughing, soaking up the sun, and spending time with friends and family. Life is good!

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I know this church is true. I didn't always have the Gospel in my life, and when I found it I knew I had come across something special. I have come to know for a surety that there is a God, that He loves me, and that He has a plan for me that will lead me to the greatest happiness. I have come to love those around me even more and now have a greater appreciation for everything that life has to offer. I know that God loves each of His children, that we can all come to know for ourselves that He lives, and that He has restored His true church on the earth today. I found this out when I was 19 and haven't looked back since. That is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith every day by following the commandments, helping those around me, and living as Christ would want me to live. For the next 18 months I am lucky enough to be a representative of Jesus Christ, serving those around me and inviting them to also come onto Him; I couldn't think of a better job!
